Pat's Party Cheese Ball

This has been Pat's hit since she joined the family.  We always used to have to call each other for this recipe during the holidays.  It's wonderful for taking to parties and holiday gatherings.

16 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (I use pecans or sliced almonds.)
2 tbsp minced dried onion
1 tbsp lemon juice
  1. Let all cheese come to room temperature for about an hour.
  2. Then, blend together all ingredients with your hands.
  3. Shape into a ball and roll in the chopped nuts.
  4. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
Serves 12.
