I am a brownie fanatic! Let me tell you, it's hard to find a decent butterscotch brownie recipe - but here's a great one!
- Over low heat melt butter and add brown sugar. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves, then pour into bowl. Cool until just warm.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Sift together: flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to sugar, butter, and egg mixture; beat.
- Gently fold in the nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cut into 2" squares when cool.
