I'm sorry if I'm insulting YOUR mom, but MY mom made the best hamburgers in the South. Our family often had dozens of teenagers over for them!
Take about 1 & 1/2 pounds of hamburger meat. Take an end of bread loaf (if you have), and dampen, don't wet. Squeeze up bread and mix with meat, salt, and pepper. You can also add onion or garlic flakes, Worcestershire sauce, sage, or poultry seasoning.
Fry in pan over medium heat or on grill.
